In 1989, NOAA said there'd been no significant temperature change over the past century. IN 1999, climate monitoring agencies agreed the US hadn't been warming for the past century. Al Gore, who'd chosen environmentalism to sell himself to progressives, was supposed to be elected in 2000. When he wasn't, the climate alarmists he'd promoted during his Senate and VP career decided to start changing the historic record to scare the US public. How do you change history? I submit there's something wrong with a process that produces these changes over the course of a decade: If you're doing something in 2001 or 2007 or 2009 that dramatically changes the temperature records for 1934 or 1979 or 1998, you're doing something patently indefensible, in my opinion.
