Speaking of weakness... I doubt she was overcome with emotion when this happened.

The status of the military is a huge challenge going forward. We should not forget that a lot of the problem is the result of the sequester. In what are good times we have $500 Billion deficit as it is. At the same time we have the loony left screaming for more social spending. Throw in a loony left 1% growth rate economy and there is simply no money.

Anyone who thinks a tax increase on this feeble economy would generate more money is loony lefty NUTS.

1. We need to get the government off the backs of the economy. The latest idiocy is the shutdown of construction of the North Dakota pipeline. That will now become the cause celeb of the loony left and I expect to see Hillary onsite in an Indian head dress shortly.

2. We need to decide just what our military roll in the world is going to be. I personally support a very high quality defense force - not a world wide police force. While we are the rods in the nuclear reactor that keeps sanity in the world - we are broke and the rest of the world needs to deal with their own messes.

RE: Cheneys Unleashed on 9/11

What a great piece.

"
Our next president must abandon Mr. Obama’s fantasy that unilaterally disarming, retreating and abandoning our allies will bring peace and security."

Right on the nose.

I agree with every point Cheney makes in this article. Then I step back and remember his role helping to lead us into Afghanistan and Iraq.

Where we are today in both Islamic cesspools should have been identified as a high probability. My vote is both Bush and Obama took the wrong path in many critical cases.
