I am 69 years old and retired for almost 8 years. For the life of me I cannot understand why someone my age would want that stress. We think a like but not all folks look at reality this way. How many athletes stick around after they are way past their time and do permanent physical and mental damage? Some folks can walk away because they have a life and their identity is not totally tied up with what they did. The power, wealth and royalty-like lifestyle have corrupted them just like drugs addict those who are them...
