Hillary's "Cough" Leads Her to Suspend Campaign Trip to California

This is really a classic example of how the Clinton dishonesty creates its own drip-drip scandal.

If Hillary Clinton had indeed been diagnosed with pneumonia, the campaign could have been open about it. Instead it turned her cough into a gag and treated any questions about her health as a right-wing conspiracy. It insisted, even after her collapse, that there was nothing wrong. Only to then announce that she has pneumonia and will be "resting". That's quite a turn from Hillary's claim that she was feeling great.

Hillary Clinton canceled plans to visit California on Monday and Tuesday and instead will rest at her home in Chappaqua, N.Y. following a medical episode that caused her to stagger and faint Sunday at a 9/11 commemoration ceremony, her campaign said.

The Democratic presidential nominee fell on her way into her van and had to be helped by her security, according to witnesses and video of her leaving. A law enforcement source told Fox News that she “clearly (was) having some type of medical episode.” Clinton’s doctor revealed later that she had been diagnosed with pneumonia on Friday.

Clinton had planned two days of fundraising and made plans to appear on Ellen DeGeneres' talk show.

Clinton’s campaign released a statement more than an hour after the incident saying the former Secretary of State “felt overheated,” and later Sunday issued another release blaming the episode on pneumonia and dehydration.

So first we went with overheated. Then she's feeling great. Then she has pneumonia.

Now it's really painfully obvious that everything that comes out of Clintonworld is carefully tested and checked. Which means nothing truthful comes out. Just different flavors of spin.

Setting aside what medical conditions Hillary might have, this is a classic example of how she and her people unnecessarily create the appearance of dishonesty by first denying the obvious, only to start slowly conceding smaller versions of the truth. This is the same thing that happened with her email. It's why Hillary is a permanent scandal machine whom no one trusts.
