Giora, I recently presented that same line of questioning to Helen, she stated that negotiations have been ongoing on more then one front and a lot of minor details have delayed the closing of proposed deals. I wasn't able to get much more out her than that, but it seems that the body of any agreement has been hammered out long ago, it's just some finer points that needed to be shored up. Hopefully they have been holding back to allow for both the holidays and recent market conditions to expire before announcing anything. Here's hoping. RB

@Giora> As RB has stated, News is news, is news, is news. But these type of long drawn out contracts could be mega-pages. Stop and think of how if FNet sets up a contract with a carrier and the long and drawn out process of dotting all the "i's in Internet" and crossing all the "T's in Telephone". I remember hearing that the Digital Express Contract was mega pages too, but with possibly a Bell, and a very long term contract? It could be 30, 40, and many more pages with alot variables. ggg I did talk to Frank, and the "Yet to be thought of Proprietary Stuff" besides the Carriers will be announced when its ready. We are all on a "Need to know basis" and right now, "We don't need to know " Frank stated that its in Tom's hands and if its out before the holiday's or after, its going out as soon as its finished. That was right before X-mas. Maybe there are more then two now competing for the same geo-area's ggg SirTemp'
