Right now, I think her docs would say "atypical pneumonia of unknown etiology". They might have sputum cultures and blood work to determine the organism causing it.

Just the 2 page letter from her doc.

Prolly; I've read a lot of charts in my lifetime. It's not like I was working with raw data. Some of it's not that hard for people in the field. You don't have to read X-rays, cuz the radiologist notes will say, "Impression...X-rays show...". You don't have to know what all the numbers in a pulmonary function test mean, cuz there's a pulmonologist who tells you. "Flow and volume restrictions consistent with restrictive lung disease" You don't need to read EKGs, cuz the EKG machine prints out a preliminary diagnosis.
