Nobody was hurt or attacked more by him than I.
But I will not dwell on the hate and evilness of such communications, because the flesh man and ego want ever so much to really get into it with him, but I refuse to be ruled by the flesh. It takes some self control but I realized that God was in control, not I, not emile, not satan or any of his cohorts.
When I was at my lowest these words of Paul kept flooding my soul;
2 Cor 12:8-10
8 For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me.
9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.
And praise God I am! But only because Christ gives me the strength to keep my flesh under subjection. And He only gives me that strength beacuse I ask Him to help me.
Alan, I know more than anyone on Ask God, the hurt and the persecution you and Nancy and even Jane has experienced from this evil one, but more than that God our Father knows it better than us all. And our precious Savior Jesus, now who knows more persecution and hate than He. He in who there was no guile suffered for our sake and for the sake of even emile.
1 Pet 2:21-25
21 For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:
22 Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:
23 Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously:
24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
25 For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.
Alan, evil can and will encompass us, it will thouroughly swallow us up, if we allow our flesh to get involved. The flesh cannot overcome evil Alan, but the Spirit of God can! And that spirit lives within us, we have the power to overcome all evil, but only when we are ruled by the spirit. There is but only one name in which we can overcome all evil.......the Name of Jesus the Christ.
Dear God Alan I am on your side, but first and foremost I am a servant of our Lord, and arguing back and forth with evil is not what we were commissioned to do. It is not of God! Not even when it comes to scripture. I have learned a long time ago that it only causes dissension and strife,and it is harmful to everyone. And we will be held accountable to God for every word that comes out of our mouth,(as well as those words that should but don't) especially those words that may cause others to stumble or God forbid, even fall away from God.
Matt 12:36-37
36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.
37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.
In conclusion Alan, I discern that emil needs more love than probably anyone on the Ask God thread.... So how do we go about giving love to someone who hates so deeply, who has been tainted and corrupted by lies and deceptions, whose heart is hardened, who somehow has a warpted interpretation of God's people, all people, and feels it his Godly commission to warn the world of his distorted and dangerous beliefs? ......Intercessory Prayer! The power of God is not to be ignored.
All other methods have been attempted here and all was fruitless.
Alan don't you think that his ways are known to all that he associates with in the real world? If people who have been a victim of his hate face to face have not been able to open his eyes, than what makes you think anyone here can? ....Only God can change his heart and lift him out of the bondage he is in.....but only if he himself looks to God to help him....He is ruled by his ego and flesh. And until he allows the spirit of the living God to intervene, he will not be renewed ..and until he is no longer blinded by the evil that holds him captive, he sees no reason to ask for release.
We can pray for that to happen Alan, maybe that is what God is trying to tell us, maybe that is why God allowed him to be exposed in our presence.
And until such time that he demonstrates a renewed and loving spirit I will continue to obey the word of God.
6 Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us.
