Ok Jim- It is surprising that Samsung would sell CDMAOne phones and go to a different standard for broadband or WLL. Maybe for WLL it doesn't need to be compatible with CDMAOne. So this is the fruit of the Siemens/IDC/Samsung combination you have been talking about? If from cross-licensing they are backward compatible to CDMAOne then I guess it solves part of the problem. Still though- why not just use CDMAOne. I guess the only reason is to save some royalties.
