Talk to Obanker

A big part of his "fixing" the real estate meltdown was his CFPB which has proclaimed title insurance is not necessary for buyers. It is completely optional.

Of course lenders do require a policy but that's because they are smart.

In O's bankster world, protecting the consumer is a non-starter.

"Most lenders require you to purchase a lender’s title insurance policy, which protects the amount they lend. You may want to buy an owner’s title insurance policy, which can help protect your financial investment in the home."

I'm constantly amazed at how ignorant liberals are to the fleecing they constantly endure at the hands of their elected elites....the billionaires that are looking out for them.

sad

a more naive bunch I've never seen

You say most closings in NH are handled by title companies, not lawyers. Why title companies if title insurance is not necessary???

Its not required by law....anyone with an IQ above 50 knows its a good idea to have it. You were, as usual, wrong.....spouting nonsense on issues you have no clue about.
