But can the cost approach that of your own fab?

It would be cheaper for NSM to assign out all the productions of Cyrix processors to outside vendors. Don't forget the costs on depreciations, employee retire funds, investment risks on fab and the time cost.

Without TSMC, UMC, Charter or IBM, could NSM produce 300 million Cyrix processors in 1999 (in case home appliance manufacturers adopt GX/MXi)?
