Don't have an iPhone but a Galaxy Note 6 (Android). Does basically the same things that an iPhone does.

There are a few other uses that I find really handy. I use OverDrive, which allows for free downloads from your library - both audio and digital books. I like the audio ones. You can also get free music from your library. Listening to a book while walking or driving is a new treat for me. Same thing with the app Audible.com, where you can buy audio books - new releases for when you don't want to wait for them to become available through the library.

You can also get free access to Lynda.com through your library. It is the best site for video tutorials besides YouTube. Lynda.com usually costs $25 a month to use. Excellent use of your time if you find yourself having to wait - doctor's, dental, or other appointments.

I use Uber quite often when I know I'm going somewhere where the parking is a challenge. The Uber app also has a new feature - Uber Eats where they will deliver meals from any of the restaurants in your area. So easy to use and very convenient.

Other apps I use:

Barcode scanner, which really comes in handy for getting product information and even generating a return label.

Scanner Radio: To listen to the police scanner when you want to find out what's going on with all the sirens in your neighborhood. It also alerts you when there is something going on.

Pedometer: Which keeps track of how far you walk/steps taken.

Nextdoor: A neighborhood watch app that includes news about what's going on in your neighborhood. Lost pets, breakins, stolen items, garage sales, community activities like Fairs and parades, etc.

Flashlight: Works when I can't find my regular flashlight.

Waze: Gives traffic information such as where accidents are, where the traffic is the slowest/fastest, where the cops are. Works in conjunction with the GPS app

You can also program it to use as a remote control for your TV if you lose your remote control.

It has all the same features you listed, but these are the extra ones I use. Didn't think I needed a Smartphone, but couldn't live without it now.
