107 Degrees In Indiana On This Date In 1939

Posted on September 14, 2016 by tonyheller

September 14 temperatures have plummeted in the US over the past 90 years.

I keep driving home the point that September used to be a very hot month in the US. On this date in 1939, a spectacular heatwave covered the eastern half of the US, with Indiana reaching 107 degrees. Temperatures this hot are incomprehensible now.

Heat in the air and water is making everything warmer almost everywhere on the planet. That means nights, days, summers, winters, land, water, sky, from pole to melting pole.

"having more really hot days"
