Last year I read ORNL's report to Congress on tensile strength testing for graphite, the study still has 7 years to go and needs 4 billion more dollars to complete it. They are testing different combinations of Synthetic, Natural and binder at different temperatures, pressures, heat and irradiation. I hope CCB or any other Canadian company gets the business, but it will be a long time before all the science is done.
