"This is my prediction for 1998 with year high of 75 and low of 21."

God bless you, and I hope you're right.

Dear Far East,

The price target (50+) U had set is unrealistic at the current momemt. For the past one year (1997), everybody in this tread had been bombarded by realistic price expectation that just didn't materialise. I do agree that Creaf price is dirt cheap, but until wallstreet can preceive the company as a growing stock and not solely an Asean one product company, the stock price will always be undervalued.

My expectation is lower, about 40+. A slow increment in its value is much more appreciative than sudden momentary up & down. This is better for those long in Creaf. Just a few weeks ago, with the sudden plunge in Creaf price, I was fanatically trying to hedge myself from margin calls. I did miss the oppurtunity to pick up any cheap shares.

Far East, I got the report. I had thought you meant that CREAF was their top pick overall! But being the top in Asia is still pretty good.

I am still really mad at them for worsening the situation by downgrading at the worst possible time. It was irresponsible, especially considerring that they are shareholders themselves! In the long run, though, I really don't care because I know we will be trading in the 40's a year from now. 50 may be asking too much, but 40 is definitely reasonable. DVD will continue to ramp. They will continue to promote their new speaker line, which should exhibit huge growth. The new high end soundblaster detailed at COMDEX will fuel margin expansion. Most importantly, '98 will bring 4 more estimate-beating quarters.

I think that many funds have been holding off from buying CREAF because it was still considered a turnaround story in the past year. Now that they have proven themselves, they will be rewarded heavily.

GO CREAF!
