aloha
i would like to discuss ideas for saving us time. im sure this is important to daytraders. if someone knows of a better thread to post this type of info to please let me know. the first suggestion i have is to use a program called websnake to download the responses on a si thread and then use a program like html view to view them offline.
i save alot of time this way because i dont have to wait at all to view the next post in a thread. here is the pplace to download websnake.
anawave.com
here is the link for html view 1.2
nng.simplenet.com
html view is pretty easy to use.
in websnake to download a thread use the wizard select search and retrieve files from a website select file keywords or file type
paste in a url from a si thread such as
techstocks.com
name your project
enter your pasword if you copied a url while you were loged on to si
uncheck all file types but text
limit the number of levels to 1. dont use keywords. then setup advanced settings only setting you need to change is in the limits change to stay with curent server then press ok then press snake
let me know how this works for you. if anybody can improve on the way i do this please let me know. also i would like to find a better html viewer. the one i use doesnt have a print option. thanks
scott
