Re the fake methane permafrost threat, it's been warmer than now in the past and there was no earth threatening problem with methane release. Remember melting glaciers uncovered Otzi, a prehistoric bloke whose body got covered by a glacier and melting glaciers are uncovering forests that grew a few thousand years ago. I guarantee you it was warmer then than now.
