Stockman, Moody's downgraded Korea. Days later US investment bankers met to lend $10,000,000.00 to Korea so they can pay off some of their Japanees loans comming due. Mood'y downgrade Korean bonds to junk status. It would seem that AMD has some good company. Given your choice what would you rather invest in AMD senoir notes demoninated i US bucks or Lorean Bonds denominated in the Korean Won. Junk bonds are the fastest growing market in Debt Finance there is a ready and liquid market ofr high yield bond "junk bonds" just to keep the Junk Bond Mutual funds market suppplied. A good percentage of the investors are Ira and 401k holders.
