Coming out of an ice age. Peak ice 22k years ago. Of course the earth is warming up. You can just pick a time frame to make a point but that doesn't change the big picture. The earth is 4,500,000,000 years old.

Yeah, if trees were growing thousands of years ago where glaciers lie now, I think we can believe it was warmer then.
