No, 8 M is enough, with 16 M you can do most tasks very well. 32 M makes it go much faster, 64 M even much faster and so on... you get the point.

Both systems could be installed with Win95. Win95 loves RAM. End users could pay CompUSA $60 to add more RAM. Unless they add more RAM into these systems, the poor Win95 users would give free advices towards everyone to skip from buying the slow systems with Intel Inside.
