Free after paying for installation, wiring, gadgets,
the panels themselves which have manufacture and shipping environmental impact on their own
repair and/or replacement when panels fail mechanically, physically or electrically.
Perhaps added house maintenance (I can imagine leaves and crap getting stuck behind the panels causing decay and insects and more roof repairs, and how well do they survive high winds?)

Perpetual? You mean I get a perpetual guarantee on the panels? :-)

BTW in truth I am considering having those things installed.
If you have some good links on pros and cons not from those who stand to profit from it, I'd appreciate!

FF's are made of formerly living plants and animals, thus are bio. They really were concentrated by the earth. What isn't bio are solar panels and windmills. Those things are made of toxic rare earth and metals.
