Nuclear war is nothing but a scare tactic. No nuclear power is off the table with the exception of Rogue Nations like N Korea which would be destroyed in a heart beat if they were ever foolish enough to try it. Iran because it supports radical Muslim thinking will not have nuclear power for another 13 years as per Obama's agreement.

In regard to the Supreme court the republicans are a far better choice to protect the Constitution as it is written. It has been a timeless document which has resulted in the building of the Greatest and most power full Nation ever on earth.

My family are US citizens I like Ted Cruz was born in Canada. He returned to the US I chose to stay North of the Border as I had established successful business here. However I am one of those Canadian refugees Elroy speaks of as I own a winter home in a Phoenix Az. suburb where I reside during the colder months for close to 30 years now.

Spending so much time in both environments but principally living in Canada ( A Socialist Nation) I believe I confront and have a understanding of the benefits and adversities presented by both governing systems.

Canada has less opportunity for politicians to be corrupt with out being exposed. But when they are there is nothing can really be done about it till the next election. No genuine avenue to impeach.
Leaders reward their friends by allotting them a Senate seat, that comes with a guaranteed remuneration plus an expense acct. for life.
The public do not get to vote in Senators in Canada they are strictly patronage appointments by the party in power. Tax payers have no choice but to pay their salaries. No process to object. And to top it off the appointed Senators, really have no power to apprehend faulty legislation. If they try the house (GOVT.) can simply over rule them.

Except by Executive order such things do not take place in the US. Even then exec. orders can be struck down by the US court or can be reversed by the next President.

Being highly socialist is not everything people think it is. Believe me it comes with very high Tax assessments on the working class to pay for the things it offers.
That said Social medical and Education is a tremendous asset. A family in BC Canada pays $75 per month for complete hospital, Medical and Doctor services. A University education can be attained for as little 40 to $50,000 by Govt.extended loan. Some of which is forgiven (up to 50%) for producing quality high grades Far below education costs in the US.

For Business, the people who create jobs there is far less incentive to do so. The richest person in Canadian Jim Pattisson, is said to be worth $10B owning a multitude of different ventures and employing thousands of workers. A long way from Warren Buffett or Bill Gates.

In closing I suggest the focus of this election should be. The protection of the American people to not only maintain, the standard of living of those gainfully employed. But to also create jobs for those who are not. Who is offering assistance for a better education of the next generation. Because education is the biggest driver to lift people out of poverty. A boat is never floats by it's top. It is the force from the bottom that lifts and keeps it afloat.
