Phillip,

How come Apple cannot build a good server? What about RS-6000. Same chips. Pixar uses lots of Sun machines. Can they hide their secrets? IBM makes very fast hard drives.

What makes a good server? Buss speed? Hard drives? Ram? Scalability? Stability?

I think a lot of small shops will look at Rhapsody if it works right. Few start ups can afford SGI or Sun machines, and few would want to tackle the technical challenge of setting up UNIX systems.

The entertainment business can only get bigger. You can't loose on a movie now, what with video, overseas markets. Even turkeys like Water World make money in the long run.

How can Oracle NOT port to Rhapsody? CA Unicenter/Jasmine are confirmed. SAP has confirmed I think. Anybody speculate on why Oracle hasn't yet?
