Sam I am - Our tax laws have spawned a monster industry. My sister manages an H&R Block office and my Mother-in-law works the phones for the IRS. My wife's profession, the ever popular lawyers, probably have tax related revenue as a huge part of their collective take. You add the how-to-books, the planners, the accountants, the phsycologists and whoever I forgot, and a flat tax is a real problem for our economy. The last tax simplification enactment was known as the "permanent employment act for lawyers and accountants". And don't let me forget all the kind folks who don't believe income tax is legal, they make jobs in law enforcement and prison admin. Almost forgot the comedians. Anyway, it's big, it's ugly, and we fear it more than shorters. Mike
