Cacaito,
two comments: 1- I have not read the study but the buckling test is vcarried out over 10-15 minutes???? A neg test would be failute at this time as opposed to failure at 2-3 minutes???

I think that the biggest negative in the UCLA resport is that these guys are so hung up on the injections that they now make this a standard part of the "work up" before MUSE will be prescribed. This is just what the typical MUSE user wants to avaid THE INJECTION!!! I think that it is both bad for VVUS but also for patients to use such a protocol.

Cacaito,

Thanks for the description. Someone should do a study comparing success and failure of this weight test with success and failure of sexual intercourse. I'd expect poor correlation.

Linda

Cacaito,
>The device is called a RigiScan (R).
Sorry, but that is NOT a RigiScan. The RigiScan is a device that measures penile tumescence and rigidity (mostly during night erections). The device is used by patients and installed before going to bed.
