Kirk, Thanks a bunch, good stuff. I might want to buy a "dongle" if it is easy to interface to my computer, I'm tired of "jury rigging" hardware that causes more problems than it is worth, it has caused me more grief and wasted time to get W95 to accept/recognize non-standard hardware "upgrades" and to make everything work correctly. I think you know what I'm talking about. I will likely use the IrDA software available on the laptop since it has worked very well for transferring files between 2 enabled laptops at work. Very fast, I was amazed at the speed of the transfers for some very large programs/files. Regards, BB
