Steve:
Our definition of a sub-zero at work is any PC that costs less than $1k. Company standards were originally for Compaqs. Now Microns are in. All we have to do is make certain that we follow the standard. If Best Buy, Computer City, etc. have it, we can buy it. What it has in it, I haven't a clue. That is for MIS to iron out. I definitely can see a need for further standardization. We still have a lot of DeskPros and ProLineas around which we are upgrading rather than buying new PCs.

I do not know of any standard that defines sub-zero innards total configuration. I do not think that one even exists. Again, I just figured sub-zero meant below $1k.

This response was interrupted several times by AOL asking me if I wanted to disconnect because of inactivity. I have the new AOL 4.0 trial upgrade too. Anybody else use AOL and have problems too?
