In California, people who live in areas that elected a Republican to Congress are actually far more likely to buy solar technology for their homes than those who elected a Democrat...

Are people in CA, who live in areas that elected a Republican to congress, more likely to own homes and have the money to afford solar than people who live in areas that elected Democrats? I know many of the extremely rich in CA lean left, but it isn't really about the extremely rich here, there isn't enough of them. People in large cities are more more likely to vote for Democrats then Republicans and are more likely then people in suburbs, in smaller towns or in rural areas to vote for Democrats. Also while I'm not sure if its specifically the case in California, the Democrats nationally tend to do well among the poor, and the very rich, while the Republicans tend to do well among the slightly rich (with the middle and working class votes deciding the election). There are a lot more slightly rich people than very rich people.
