Steve,
I think most students of the IMS data would also say to look at monthly trends and not just focus on the weekly data. There is just too much noise influencing the weekly, but trends aver months are very important. Aother issue is if a large percentage of a drug is distributed from non-pharmacy locations like doctors' offices, clinics etc since this will reduce IMS data but not the company's actual sales.
