Farenthold claims to have found evidence Donald Trump may have violated “laws against ‘self-dealing.'” The Donald Trump campaign has categorically denied the claims. At no point in the story did the Washington Post disclosethat their reporter David Farenthold’s wife works for a non-profit funded by the Clinton Foundation, with a Mexican president on the board of directors. WeSearchr researchers exclusively broke that story with GotNews earlier today. Read more shocking details here. But there’s more shocking stuff about David Fahrenthold. WeSearchr researchers found two notable incidents of unethical journalism by David Fahrenthold. That’s two besides the Trump charity story. One story is from the year 2000, and the other is from 2014, suggesting David Fahrenthold has a long history of unethical journalism. The latest one from 2014 was written by Mark E. Smith, a disabled advocate for people who have medical needs for power wheelchairs. Smith has cerebral palsy and uses a powerchair himself. In the piece, Smith details his experience with Fahrenthold, which he described as absurd, disturbing, and not ethical. Smith writes that Fahrenthold “blatantly omitted us and the truth entirely. Fahrenthold got his story – but wrote it ignoring all facts.” You won’t hear this stuff from the lying mainstream media. Keep the GotNews mission alive: donate at GotNews.com/donate or send tips to editor@gotnews.com. If David Fahrenthold wrote that story without any regard to the facts, why should we trust his story on the Trump Foundation, or any other story he has ever written? Smith adds: “So, what was in Fahrenthold’s story? Conjecture, the Russian mob and, indirectly, a sitcom as his source.” Some journalism! The Washington Post has really gone downhill since it became Amazon billionaire Jeff Bezos’ personal blog. Does David Fahrenthold have some kind of problem with disabled people? Is he a bigot? And what’s his deal with conspiracy theories about the Russians? It certainly fits the profile of his wife’s employers, who want to tie Donald Trump to Russian President Vladimir Putin. The second piece, a letter to the editor of the Washington Post written in 2000, says that David Fahrenthold misrepresented facts. The writer, Darcy Flynn, lists a number of details about crime in the Brookland area of Washington, D.C. that Fahrenthold got wrong but reported anyway, including wrong dates and statistics. Flynn writes that Fahrenthold “erroneously reported” various details about crimes in the area and residents’ complaints about crime multiple times. Why is Fahrenthold so allergic to the truth? And if we can’t trust him to honestly and straightforwardly report on basic things like disabled people’s wheelchairs or local crime, why should we trust him to report on national presidential candidates?
