Barb! Thanks for the response. Just for the record although I am newly short YHOO and now have put options I have been reading this thread from time to time for awhile, been tracking YHOO since its inception, and first became familiar with the YAHOO directory when it resided at Stanford U. before YAHOO! was even a private company. I think the change in year is not very significant (similarly I have no faith in a January effect) but IMO the Hotmail news is a big negative that will sink in gradually and cause YHOO to sink. I know many shorts have felt the pain last year. Timing is critical in this type of investing and I could be off, but IMO right now the risks are well worth the anticipated gains. Please share with us when you think the TA shows meaningful changes. RJ
