I dare say that DARPA has come up with something at least as good if not a lot better. There must be a LOT of tricky electronics/photonics/electromagnetics/computery gadgetry ready now and under development which will be able to do things never seen in war before. With 20 megaton blast power for mega scale, and polonium 210 nanotech, micro drones and all sorts or unmanned mini mobility autonomous or remotely controlled vehicles, the old General Westmoreland type battles will look like the Charge of the Light Brigade compared with Adolf's Blitzkrieg. Poland met Panzers on ponies - it did not take a day before they were finished. Mqurice
