Let's try to put a few things in perspective. It was a great game. Michigan did, as it always does, what it had to do to win the game. They changed their entire defensive scheme and controlled Leaf quite well. The offense played well enough in the second half to control the ball and secure the victory. The one second remaining is utterly meaningless to an objective viewer since WSU was only at that point on the field when an official choked by failing to throw a flag on one of the most obvious offensive pass interferences one could witness. The pass was destined for an interception or, at the very least, to be broken up. Michigan deserves No. 1 no matter what Nebraska does against an injured Manning (let's not forget the kicked pass against Missouri and the struggle against an inferior Colorado team).

P.S. to Henry: nice to see you have failed so miserably in keeping your new year resolutions.
