Jack;
MetaComet passed away last January 26th 2016. He was an engineer, lived in Tucon AZ. around 50 miles from our winter habitat near Phoenix.

I received a message from him about two weeks previous. He seemed concerned over the lack of affordable health care in the US. We compared the difference between that offered in the US as to the Canadian system more than a few times. He felt a portion of taxation collected should go toward supporting affordable healthcare. And should be a right of a country's citizens to be able to access it freely. One area where we were totally on the same ground.

I knew there was something wrong by what seemed to be a troubled tone. But he never disclosed what it exactly was. I never asked. Perhaps I should have.

When speaking with him in depth on various subjects was a very intelligent person. Not afraid to look at both sides of he equation. Quite flexible in his approach.

We also had a mutual interest in mining stocks. And had been invested in the same company. Plus exchanged ideas on others So we had a many interests in common.
