""All I can say is that I don't know a single person who is happy with the quality of the product but I'm not offering any explanations or interpretations""

1. Maybe you don't know enough people.

2. 12 million units would argue against most of what you are saying.

3. I have 3 Zip drives, all different configurations and I have never had a problem.

4. I am very happy with Iomega products. One of the many reasons I own their stock.

5. Now you know someone who is happy with their IOM product.

Happy New Year to all.

It might be a software problem. Maybe you have old/beta version of the programs and new hardware. Or you other hardware/network or network device drivers are not compatible with Zip.

You might run into the same problems if you use other backup/file system.
