Hi All, This may be abit of good new for XDSL (PAIR). A judge in Texas just ruled the communication act passed by the congress in 1994 (?) unconstitutional. This mean long distance carrier will have a hard time breaking in and competing with the baby bells in the local market. More importantly, the baby bells have been slow to deploy XDSL partly because they don't want to pick up all the cost then have to share these technologies with the long distance carrier. If higher courts upheld this decision or some compromises can come out of this which protect the baby bells of their investments then I think the full deployment of XDSL could be happened this year.
