"stop and frisk may be the best way to get guns off the street." Sounds like you want to throw out the 2nd Amendment.

The courts have already come down against stop and frisk. If the cops try and stop black teens in this environment and frisk them there will probably be some problems. I thought conservatives LIKED the 1950's. Back then, NOBODY would carry a gun without being roughed up by the cops and have the gun taken and have themselves brought in for questioning. The NRA has tried and been successful in changing all that. NOW, people can walk down the street or into a department store openly carrying a semi-automatic rifle. I liked it BETTER in the 1950's.
