The MSM has never plainly called a politician's statement lies before Trump. But then again no candidate has ever repeated the same lies ad infinitum before Trump. In normal elections, when a candidate lies, the media calls them out, and the candidate stops telling the lie. Trump doesn't play by those rules. And the media doesn't take kindly to this. The absolute biggest lie of this election was that Trump, queen of birthirism, tried to make the absurd claim that Hillary started it. Calls a major press conference and uses it to pump his hotel, have a bunch of testimonials given for him, and then makes a 30 second statement. His thirty second statement, that Obama was born in America, was supposed to make up for Trump claiming - thousands of times - even this year - the race-baiting notation that Obama was born in Kenya. Years and years after the debate on this was over he continued to claim it. That was when the media turned. It will go down and always be remembered as when the media truly turned on Trump.
