AAPL at 14 1/2. Is the start of the pre-Mac World run-up?

What I am thinking is that Apple does not have to build the high end server. Rhapsody is available on intel now. Compaq has made no secret of the fact that it intends to start introducing high end server machines in January. It wants to go head-to-head with IBM, etc. Box makers like Compaq want a OS they can use on their upcoming machines and they want unix. Where are they going to get it? They can't use Solaris (Sun would loose hardware sales). NT has been criticized as a high end server. Ideally, we would be looking for a unix OS of some kind.... SCO? There really isn't much out there in the way of a well recognized good sized provider- except Apple.
