My pastor has been there and our church supports missions all over the world. BTW you can't go there simply as a missionary, you have to have a job like teaching English. Then do the witnessing on your own time. Our pastor's mentor spent years training Chinese pastors there.

The Mormons sent a missionary to China where he faked his death and was last seen living in North Korea with a wife and child. I guess North Korea Communism beats Mormon Conservatism in Salt Lake City. Willard Mitt Romney went on a mission to Paris, where he lived in a mansion with a butler. But then he contributed much more to the church I think. God loves generous white folks.
