Reality is that US Federal government can print money and owns the central bank.

Reality is US $ is the world currency.

Reality is US Congress has been supine for decades in the face of lobbyists.

Reality is if US Gov't cut out loop holes in tax code it can lower tax rates.

Reality is even in its present situation the US is world's preeminent nation and those countries dependent on exports for their prosperity are getting it by selling to mostly to US, (and to much lesser extent to UK and the Chinese middle class).

Reality is nobody gives a damn about US government debt as long as the country's economy grows.

Reality is US companies must repatriate some of their profits and pay taxes on them.

Reality is that US one percenters can go the Trump way or 5 - 10 years from now they can go the hard way.
