Research has shown religious conservatives are the most generous sector of society. Secular liberals are the least generous, they think charity is the government's job. Liberal compassion is doing nothing personally but voting for a massive welfare state. Remember the liberal dean of SI who used to post here about how compassionate and caring he was. Then he mentioned he loved to take suckers paychecks away at the poker table. Another compassionate liberal here has boasted that he had every child he fathered aborted. He did it for the earth he says. Not because he didn't want to be saddled with 18 years of child support.
