Echostar (DISH) offering by end of January 900 channels plus local programming for a price less than the typical cable bill. CNBC has just run this story again today quoting Moskowitz of Echostar. CE Unterberg analyst notes that biggest reason people aren't flocking to satellite service is lack of availability of local programming. So this is predicted to be really big for satellite industry and expected to put much pressure on cable operators. Divicom-Cube should benefit. Ron.
