That's not to say he doesn't say stupid things. But this is just nitpicking. I don't care whether he understands PTSD or not. His point was proper, which is we need to help these people. The point that was MISSED, however, is that these suicides are NOT a result of PTSD. They are a result of veterans getting old and not getting the medical attention they need. These are not Iraq era veterans. These are Korea & Vietnam aged, for the most part.
