deloitte.bre-x.axia.com Trustee of Bre-X Minerals Ltd. Sues Felderhof Deloitte & Touche Inc. confirms that it has filed a Writ of Summons in the Grand Court of the Cayman Islands against John Felderhof, his wife Ingrid Felderhof and Spartacus Corp., a corporation believed to be owned by Ingrid Felderhof. In the Writ of Summons Deloitte & Touche Inc. claims that Bre-X Minerals Ltd. suffered damages as a result of John Felderhof's breach of fiduciary duty and his negligence while acting as a director, general manager and chief administrative officer of Bre-X Minerals Ltd. during the period from 1993 to 1997. A copy of the Writ of Summons is attached. The Trustee also claims in the Writ of Summons that Ingrid Felderhof and Spartacus Corp. acquired their property from John Felderhof and that property is subject to the Trustee's claims. At the request of the Trustee, the Grand Court of the Cayman Islands has granted an injunction prohibiting John and Ingrid Felderhof and Spartacus Corp., from dealing with their assets. Deloitte & Touche Inc. was appointed Trustee in Bankruptcy of the estate of Bre-X Minerals Ltd. on November 5th, 1997.
