Haz, Boliden thought to take advantage of a weak time in the juniors. Now that not enough shares have been tendered, and there are 6 other suitors the final ante may be better. Those who fir better will pay higher. Hopefully you will get shares in a major instead of cash(unless you want the cash) That way the major would go up, and you pay no taxes until you sell the major. If you take a boliden cash offer it attracts 1998 taxable income. It depends on your personal agenda, however I suspect you might get somewhere between $8 and $10 after the bidding ceases. There is a huge amount of values in the Westmin properties, and the others will not let boliden steal it.
