GZ - After doing a lot of TA, considering almost everything under the sun, what I lacked was the ability to prioritize certain studies in my attempt to decide what to expect from the market. Your references to Andrews Pitchforks and consequent clarifications have helped me establish a priority. Thank you for this!

You reference Gann every now and then. Anytime you feel like expounding on this, as well as Pitchforks, I would very much welcome it!

Thanks, Skipper

Hi GZ,
Here's our pitchforks at : geocities.com

Ok, price's are drawn to the handle's(centerlines) like a magnet. Once they get there prices are likely to correct away from it. If the price returns to the centerline or does not correct away from it, the market will continue in the direction of the line in one of two ways.
1)the price should follow the centerline along or
2) the price will accelerate and move to the next parallel line.

So, looking a our chart we can see that the market didn't sell off on Wed. the 31. This is a bullish move. We can expect prices to continue to follow the yellow line on up. If buying gets really crazy then we can expect price to make a big move up to the large(red) handle. Once its at the red handle we can expect prices to correct away from it. Hey, GZ any of this sound right...Please educate this beginner.....Bruce
