Mason,

Your article mentioned Micron Technology bringing down Cap Ex in '98 to the 700 million range. This is an example of the types of push outs that are company specific that equipment analysts have not fully reflected in their Fab database models to adequately project YOY equipment growth rates. I mentioned this in a prior post. More dreaded equipment analyst downgrades are on the way. They have not had the opportunity to get all of their clients money out of the group. They will on a ralley in the group, then look out!
