Well, I was okay, at least on a local level in Virginia or Tennessee. I really only felt like I had speed for a year or two in my late 20's and then it was more of trying to compensate with endurance which doesn't quite work. These days, it's a struggle just to seem halfway respectable. I run with my GF a lot and pretend that she's the reason I'm going slowly. That may be partially true, but not as much as it once was :) Nervously awaiting the game.
