Brian, your concern regarding treatment is certainly something to take a closer look at. I would think that if it is applied against revenue then might be reflected each quarter as some sort of concession. Sometimes it is noted as an advertising expense, thus a nice writeoff, just depends on how the books are set up. I haven't looked that close at the financials and maybe there are a few bean counters out there who may have an idea how this might be handled or better skilled in interpreting these #s.

I think looking into when most of the rebates were offered, what the claim range period, and % of claim response against unit sales of each respective product might be would be helpful. If we can find a summary to this end. How did you derive your dvd sales est? You mention ramping, excuse my ignorance as I am uncertain how this part works. Appreciate your understanding of this as maybe others would. When you get a minuite let me know more about this.
