At the time the Bill Clinton presidency didn't seem that great, to me. But now, in retrospect it seems pretty impressive. The economy seemed to grow. We didn't have any wars. (Even with the Bosnia mess that we seemed to get through with some well planned bombing.) The National Debt problem seemed to be getting better with the Country actually moving more toward surpluses than deficits. Clinton actually worked WITH the Republicans on welfare reform. Considering what we've seen SINCE, 1993 to 2000 seems Great in comparison.
